As a National Brand Ambassador Alumna at Girls Inc., I continue to champion the empowerment and education of girls and young women through strategic digital marketing and impactful social media storytelling. I collaborate with a diverse network of creators and advocates to produce content that amplifies Girls Inc.’s mission, while strengthening my skills in brand communication and community-centered media.
I am currently a freshman at El Camino College on the LMU + El Camino Guaranteed Transfer Pathway and a dual-enrollment student at Santa Monica College, where I’m building a strong academic foundation in business communication, marketing, and brand strategy. I also have hands-on experience in digital storytelling, creative leadership, and media strategy through programs such as the Stanford Daily Multimedia Workshop, USC Annenberg Youth Academy for Media & Civic Engagement, the Oppti x Johnson & Johnson Innovation Internship, Snap Inc. Lens Lab, and the Columbia Scholastic Press Association Editorial Leadership Workshop. These opportunities strengthened my content creation skills, strategic thinking, and understanding of audience engagement.
My background also includes participating in the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) x JCal Matters Program, where I authored a published article and developed professional communication, research, and editorial skills. Serving as Site Manager for the 2024 cohort, I oversaw the publication of articles and photos from our visit to the California State Capitol, reinforcing my leadership in content organization and digital publishing.
As the Founding President and Editor-in-Chief of DV Connect Lit, I led the magazine to national recognition with the NCTE REALM Award for Excellence. Under my leadership, we published issues centered on youth activism, mental health, and diversity in literature while organizing book drives, social impact campaigns, and community collaborations that amplified student voices.
I am also a Microsoft Scholar, Posse Scholar Finalist, Kode With Klossy Scholar, and Principal’s Honor Roll recipient. Having served as a commencement speaker, I have consistently demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and dedication to community impact.
Today, my academic and career focus centers on marketing, brand strategy, and business communication, where I plan to continue this journey at Loyola Marymount University pursuing a B.B.A. in Marketing with a B.A. in Communication Studies, while also interning to gain real-world experience through internships in marketing, digital media, and brand development.
