At the Belkin Spring Fling Career Fair on April 10th! I had the opportunity to interview top industry professionals in the tech industry, including Stephanie Clark from Paramount+, who shared insights into the process of storytelling and franchise development in streaming. I also interviewed Alisa Sommer O’Hara from Google, exploring the critical role of technology in education and the importance of diversity and inclusivity in both learning environments and the workplace. Additionally, I learned about the principles of Design Thinking from Aaron Sevier, Director at Belkin, which highlighted how this approach influences consumer engagement and drives innovation. I was fortunate to participate in a joint interview with Sarah Lui and Nari Kim at Belkin, who detailed the comprehensive process of product management, from conception to market release—especially excited about the upcoming launch of the GaN Dock that launched this past January I would like to thank you all the insightful leaders for their time and wisdom, and to @belkin for providing this incredible learning opportunity for us, the students of @portallearning_ and @davincischools_org . Attended the Picture Motion x National Geographic and Disney+ event for the premiere of “A Real Bug’s Life” at the Natural History Museum. Exciting Internship Journey with Johnson & Johnson Throughout my internship, I had the privilege to work on a mock-up that I’m thrilled to finally share with you all: the rebranding of Neutrogena cosmetics for a more youthful demographic! The challenge was to revitalize the brand, making it more appealing and relevant to the younger generation while staying true to Neutrogena’s core values of quality, trust, and healthy skincare. My vision for the rebranding involved vibrant colors, innovative product lines, and a fresh, modern aesthetic. I collaborated with our project management team to create a comprehensive strategy that resonates with the youthful demographic. Our research uncovered invaluable insights about the desires and aspirations of young consumers. This project has been an amazing learning experience, and I’m honored to have played a role in shaping the future of Neutrogena cosmetics. We also gained valuable experience reading off teleprompters, sitting at a real news desk, and receiving mentorship from the ABC 10 News team in collaboration with AAJA x JCal Matters.

I had the opportunity to interview some amazing panelists @belkin Career Spring Fling 25’ as apart of my marketing micro-internship. I’ve always been passionate about marketing and content creation, but getting first hand knowledge from Mady Maio (founder of @camberapp ), Grace Chornekyo (Director of Talent Partnerships, Fashion Division @jabberhaus ), and creators @taannr and @stevenfingar gave me a deeper look into what this career really involves. We talked about storytelling, brand partnerships, management, and how great content is more than just trends but creating authentic connection. Every conversation added a new layer to how I see my future combining storyteling and real connection with our community.

For our FBLA project, my team and I developed a full marketing campaign and strategic presentation for Green Tee, a sustainable apparel brand we created to promote environmental responsibility and transparency in the fashion industry. Our project broke down the industry’s key environmental issues including carbon emissions, textile waste, and greenwashing, and used that research to design a T shirt made from organic, ethically sourced materials, low impact dyes, and durable construction. We supported our product concept with verified sustainability certifications and complete supply chain traceability. Our presentation also outlined Green Tee’s brand positioning, eco friendly packaging, and augmented product features such as carbon conscious shipping and garment recycling programs. As part of the Social Media Strategies category, we built a complete digital campaign for @dvconnectfbla, drawing inspiration from Goli Nutrition’s viral TikTok strategy and adapting those tactics to promote a mission driven brand. This project earned 5th Place in California at the 2025 FBLA State Leadership Conference, a highly competitive statewide event. As first time competitors, we were recognized for our creativity, data informed strategy, strong brand storytelling, and our ability to connect social impact with modern marketing trends. The experience showcased our teamwork, initiative, and capacity to develop professional level marketing work at a statewide level.
I created a slideshow highlighting the Snapchat lenses I designed during my three week participation in the Snap Lens Lab program. The project showcases both my creative approach and my technical development in augmented reality design. Each slide walks through a different lens and explains the inspiration behind it, ranging from nostalgic designs like the Disney Ears lens to expressive, story driven creations such as Pokémon Dance, Queen’s Crown, and Deadpool and Wolverine. The slideshow also details the tools I used throughout the program, including Adobe Photoshop, Maya, and Lens Studio. With these platforms, I edited visuals, built and animated 3D elements, and transformed interactive concepts into fully realized AR experiences on Snapchat. By pairing visuals with clear explanations, the presentation highlights how each lens blends storytelling, emotion, and user engagement. This project reflects how the Snap Lens Lab strengthened my ability to communicate ideas through AR and translate personal interests into creative, immersive digital experiences.

Neutrogena's Social Media Campaign enhanced J&J's brand presence with engaging content across major platforms. We utilized TikTok and Instagram strategies, leveraging data analytics to create viral content and boost visibility in beauty, lifestyle, and pop culture domains.
During the Portal Learning Internship in the Summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to interact with corporate leaders, such as Asif, the CEO of PictureMotion, and Juliette, who heads the Creative Agency Team at Breaker. These interactions provided me with insightful perspectives on how we can enhance Portal Learning for students, including those who attend school full-time. As part of the Creative Agency team, we developed the Portal Fair to engage Da Vinci Connect students and introduce them to the Portal Learning program. We also created a Kahoot game for prospective students and foster their interest in design thinking and outreach. Design thinking, which emphasizes empathy, creativity, and problem-solving, is crucial in today’s rapidly changing world. Portal Learning fosters this type of thinking by encouraging students to approach problems with an open mind, collaborate with diverse teams, and continuously refine their ideas based on feedback. This approach not only enhances students' problem-solving skills but also prepares students like myself to tackle real-world challenges innovatively and effectively. This internship has instilled in me the importance of creativity and teamwork. Portal Learning is more than just a project; it is a close-knit community dedicated to fostering innovative thinkers.
