What an incredible evening at the Girls Inc. of Los Angeles 3rd Annual Benefit - LA Girls Rise 

We celebrated empowerment and the amazing potential of young girls in our community. As a National Brand Ambassador, I had the honor of interviewing three phenomenal women: Dorian Garcia, Director of Programs at Girls Inc., and Nicole Sams, the Board Chair SVP & Sub-Complex Manager at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, as well as the talented Tatyana Ali, who was also the emcee for the evening! Their commitment to our mission is truly inspiring.

From a shy girl with a stutter to a young woman focused on marketing and journalism, Girls Inc. has been such an important part of my journey. This organization has truly allowed me to embody the Girls Inc. way as a strong, smart, bold female taking on opportunities and leadership roles with confidence.

A special highlight was running into one of the program connections, Kaylah Bell from SavagexFenty, whom I initially met at the Belkin Spring Fling career fair. It was a great reminder of the power of networking, a skill I honed during my time at Portal Learning.
