As an 11th grade high school student preparing my transition for college and career I am highly focused on both my personal and professional growth. Recently, through Portal Learning I had the opportunity to participate in the Belkin Panel Discussions celebrating Women's History Month and Black History Month. This experience wasn't just about commemorating these important months; it was a gateway to building professional networks and developing skills for my future career.

Women's History Month: The event featured inspiring stories from trailblazers like Jessica Narika, whose journey from an intern at CNN to making significant news stories taught me the value of determination and seizing every opportunity. The panel discussions, led by the incredible Jen Wei, shed light on the importance of mentorship, adaptability in the face of changing marketing trends, and the power of persistence. It was a reminder that with the right guidance and resilience, we can overcome any obstacle.
