Portal Learning x Snap Inc. Tour

Thrilled to share my recent visit to Snap Inc. HQ, a pivotal experience in my journey with Portal Learning for the Fall 2023’

This visit, part of our extended career-connected learning program, was not just a tour - it was a deep dive into the heart of innovation and creativity at one of the world's leading tech companies.

We were guided through the Snap HQ by Lindsey Heisser, Director of Philanthropy, and the Workplace Experience Team. The tour was enlightening, showcasing the innovative work environment and giving us a real feel of Snap's vibrant culture.

A highlight was meeting with the Snap Graphic Design Team. Learning about their roles and how each space within the office contributes to Snap's overall mission and culture. 

The career workshop panel was another standout moment, featuring employees from various departments at Snap. Hearing about their personal journeys to Snap, their roles, key skills, and the challenges and joys of their work was incredibly insightful. The Q&A and breakout sessions provided a great opportunity for networking and learning directly from the pros.

I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity, especially for the chance to connect and network with Harmony Simpson and Vanessa Valerio. This experience has not only broadened my perspective on career possibilities but also solidified my passion for the tech industry.
